Records & Documentation

Every plane, sniffed first.

PlaneReports locates and compiles an aircraft's documented history — FAA registry, NTSB records, airworthiness directives, and any logbooks the owner has shared — into one report with a 0–100 score. The PlaneReports Score measures how much of an aircraft's documented history was located — not its condition, airworthiness, or value.

Reading the score
Extensively documented

Most of the documented history was located across FAA, NTSB and logbook sources. Still not an inspection — confirm against the original records.

Partially documented

Some sources are on file, some are not yet. The score rises as records are located — it says nothing about the aircraft's condition.

Awaiting records

Little documented history has been located yet. Not a red flag by itself — ask the seller for the logbooks, and bring a mechanic either way.

Howdy, friend. I'm Bodhi — I help folks buy, sell, and trade around the post. Ask me things like "find a Cessna 172 under $80k" or "is this a fair price for a Bonanza?"
